STEVEN Berkoff (right) is taking his one-man show direct from the West End to the Edinburgh Fringe. Shakespeare's Villains is Berkoff's personal analysis of the bard's plays, but he also acts out classic villain scenes featuring Iago, Macbeth and Richard III, among others. It's a masterclass for students of Shakespeare which also appeals to the layperson through concentrating on the juicy parts; humour, sex and violence.

The Pleasance, Edinburgh (0131-556 6550) tonight pounds 9.50
