Ayub Khan-Din follows up his smash hit East is East with another deft comedy of cultural clashes. It's a country-house play, except that the country is India and his Anglo-Indian characters are more British than the British. The production veers towards the stolid but it's saved by the warmth of the writing, a feisty Madhur Jaffrey (above) and a gloriously larky performance from the eightysomething actress Sheila Burrell, who plays it just this side of barking mad.
