Ed Sheeran could become the most unlikely star of Game Of Thrones
Just thinking out loud but I'd love to appear in the HBO show...

He might have enough awards to fashion himself his very own Iron Throne but it seems Ed Sheeran isn’t content with merely dominating the music world and would like a piece of Westeros.
The 24-year-old singer is apparently “hounding” HBO bosses for a role in the Game of Thrones fantasy series based on George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books.
Sheeran, who could easily pass for a member of the Greyjoy clan (Alfie Allen’s character Theon/Reek is no use to the dynasty any more, anyway), was apparently approached by the show’s producers a few years ago but hasn’t yet managed to find time to take part.
"There were talks ages ago of me being an extra, which could have been cool. But every time they shoot it's the time I tour in the UK,” Sheeran, who claims to be a massive fan of the series, told The Sun.
If cast Sheeran would follow in the footsteps of Coldplay drummer Will Champion and Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody who each had a cameo in 2013.
It wouldn’t be the first time Sheeran has hung up his guitar for the television cameras.
The “Thinking Out Loud” singer, who recently took a break from his tour of Australia, recently made a cameo appearance in Channel 5 soap, Home and Away.
The BRIT award-winning artist was pictured filming a scene with actress Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn Chambers , on Palm Beach in Sydney.
He has also appeared in the popular children’s TV show Sesame Street.
