The Apprentice lookalikes: Lord Sugar says he's seen it all before...and judging by the carbon-copy contestants so have we

Lord Sugar began this year’s series of The Apprentice by complaining he had seen “all the usual bullshit before”. Well, he has.

A number of candidates throughout the ninth series have born a striking resemblance to one another.

This year’s Francesca MacDuff-Varley (above) looks the spitting image of 2010 winner Stella English, who recently lost a case against Lord Sugar for unfair dismissal.

Jason Leech (the one with the eyebrows) from the current series also looks like Alex Epstein from series six.

Other contestants appear to have been hired for sharing a common ‘look’, be that arrogant gobs Stuart Baggs and Paul Tulip, privately-educated London boys Michael Sophocles and Simon Ambrose, or posh blondes Katie Hopkins and Lucinda Ledgerwood.
