It's almost time for the Strictly Come Dancing final, when the remaining celebrities will take to the dance floor in all the sequinned, sparkling glory.

TV presenter Caroline Flack is favourite to win this year's ballroom showdown after being the first to score a perfect 40 points with dance partner Pasha Kovalev.

Former Blue singer Simon Webbe, The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge and TOWIE's Mark Wright will also compete to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.

So, while the contestants are busy perfecting their show dances ahead of tomorrow night, the time seems right to take a look back at past winners throughout Strictly's glitzy ten-year history.

Sir Bruce Forsyth stepped down from presenting Strictly in April because at 86 the "rigours of live shows" were becoming too much for him.

"I am very proud of what the show has achieved and confident it will entertain the nation for many years to come," he said.

Claudia Winkleman took over from Forsyth but was forced to take three weeks off when her daughter was hospitalised following a Halloween accident.

Winkleman and co-host Tess Daly will reveal the 2014 Strictly champion at 8.50pm on BBC1 this Saturday.
