Tonight on The Apprentice, Lord Sugar will hire one of his last remaining candidates and invest £250,000 into their proposed new business.

Bianca Miller and Mark Wright are the final two standing in the BBC show, with twenty aspiring entrepreneurs whittled down over eleven weeks of rocketing stress levels.

Bianca wants to fill a gap in the market with a hosiery brand for different skin tones while salesman Mark plans to launch a successful search engine optimisation (SEO) company.

But who should triumph in the boardroom this year?

Why Bianca Miller should win

London girl Bianca, 25, impressed Lord Sugar and his aides in the interview round with her bright idea for a business addressing the lack of hosiery for women of darker skin tones.

She was criticised by interviewers and fellow candidates for “having no personality” and “hiding behind a mask” – comments that led her to tears during her interview with Ricky Martin.

Regardless of her emotional side, Bianca is determined to launch her hosiery brand with or without Lord Sugar’s support.

Lauren Riley, Daniel Lassman, Felipe Alviar-Baquero and Katie Bulmer-Cooke are returning to help Bianca set up her company in tonight’s final task.

Why Mark Wright should win

This 24-year-old Australian has built up a reputation on this year’s Apprentice as a first-rate salesman, something that Lord Sugar highly values.

A digital marketing sales manager, he already has knowledge of the field he wants to go into, meaning he could be a more reliable choice for the business magnate.

Mark has plenty of confidence – when asked what his worst personal qualities are his answer is ‘I don’t have any’ – but he badly stumbled on a pitch in an earlier task so will need to make sure he brings his A game to the final.

Fired candidates James Hill, Sarah Dales, Sanjay Sood-Smith and Solomon Akhtar will be helping Mark launch his business in tonight’s closing episode.

Who the bookmakers are backing

Mark has emerged as the 1/3 favourite to triumph over Bianca in the final showdown, with the latter on odds of 11/4 to win, according to odds aggregator bettingpro.com.

Who gets our vote

Mark seems to have more experience in what he wants to do, but we reckon Bianca’s business has the most chance of success as there is less competition and therefore arguably more demand. But really, it is anyone’s game, so should be a nail-biting final.

Catch The Apprentice final at 9pm tonight on BBC1.
