It remains unknown if or when The Apprentice will return to our TV screens next year, but it seems likely.
Lord Sugar’s trusted advisor Nick Hewer announced this week that he is leaving after a decade of withering put-downs and entertaining facial expressions.
“I’ve been pondering my departure for a while and have decided that year ten is the appropriate time,” he said. “I leave with relief, tinged with regret.”
Last year’s winner was Leah Totton, who used Lord Sugar’s money to set up a cosmetic skin clinic in East London.
Other victors have included Tom Pellereau, Lee McQueen, Michelle Dewberry and Tim Campbell.
