Anger Management? Charlie Sheen fires Selma Blair as his onscreen therapist with expletive-filled text

Charlie Sheen is at it again. The volatile actor is reportedly up to his old tricks having allegedly fired co-star Selma Blair from his sitcom Anger Management via an expletive-filled text message.
Blair, who plays Sheen’s therapist in the series, was allegedly sacked after enraging the actor over comments questioning his work ethic, according to Deadline.
The actress is said to have received an abusive text from Sheen calling her a "c***" and asking her to leave the show.
The role of the therapist is reportedly not going to be recast, leaving Sheen's character- and by the sounds of it, the actor- without any onscreen guidance counselling.
The TV series is loosely based on the 2003 film of the same name with Sheen in a role inspired by the one played by Jack Nicholson on the silver screen.
Sheen, who pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-wife Brook Mueller in 2009, has starred in the show since its inception in 2012.
He was fired from the popular TV series Two and a Half Men in 2011 after he refused to enter rehab for drug misuse.
In a statement confirming Blair’s exit, the show’s producers said: “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management, and we wish her the very best.”
The producers are said to be re-casting a new female regular to take over from Blair, but not in the role of therapist.

Might Lindsay Lohan return to the series as Charlie’s romantic interest after her one-off appearance earlier this year? It’s just as well she wouldn’t be playing his therapist.
