Caroline Flack: Private funeral to be held for former Love Island presenter
A flood of emotional tributes has followed the presenter’s shocking death
There will be a private funeral today (10 March) for Caroline Flack, attended by the late Love Island star’s friends and family.
In February, Flack took her own life at the age of 40. Before her death, she was awaiting trial for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.
In the weeks since the tragic event, there has been an outpouring of support in memory of the TV presenter, from people including Olly Murs, Ant and Dec, and Jack Whitehall.
Girls creator Lena Dunham also wrote an emotional tribute to Flack, saying the loss hit her with a “sickening power”.
Sales of Flack’s autobiography Storm in a C Cup have risen in recent weeks, with publishers re-releasing the book to meet demand.
Prior to her death, Flack had been working on another book, which was a cross between a memoir and a self-help guide.
