Doctor Who episode 'The Witchfinders' accidentally leaked on Amazon Prime
Ironically, the episode centred on a deep-space version of an Amazon warehouse

American Doctor Who fans hoping to catch up on the latest episode have been left questioning whether they had accidently stepped into a TARDIS over Thanksgiving.
Those who attempted to stream last week’s episode “Kerblam!” on Amazon Prime (the only place to watch the show outside of the BBC app in the US) found themselves instead watching “The Witchfinders” – which is due to debut this coming weekend.
As io9 points out, the subtitles for “Kerblam” – an episode ironically about a deep-space version of an Amazon warehouse where robot workers replace lifeforms – were shown over “The Witchfinders”, leading to a mishmash of robotic text over 17th century prose.
In a statement, the BBC said: “We’re aware that an upcoming episode of Doctor Who was made available to Amazon Prime users in the US in error.
“We are investigating how this happened and have taken the steps to remove it. BBC Studios would like to apologise if anyone’s enjoyment of the series has been spoiled by this mishap.”
There’s no word on whether this was revenge Amazon’s way of seeking revenge. Meanwhile, the episode “Kerblam” has been met with positive reviews, The Independent‘s critic saying the series’ latest has “lashings of quippy banter and funny/scary robots”.
