Doctor Who season 12: Jodie Whittaker and Bradley Walsh begin filming as production gets underway
Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole are also back

While the next series of Doctor Who may not be set to debut until next year (2020), the BBC has begun teasing Jodie Whittaker's second outing as the eponymous Time Lord.
The show's official Twitter account has posted a photo of the four main cast members (Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole) back together with the caption "Doctor Who is back in production!"
No further details on why the group are back together have been revealed, and it remains unknown whether they are working on the next series or a potential special episode.
The BBC confirmed in December that Whittaker would return as The Doctor for at least on more season, with showrunner Chris Chibnall also coming back.
“We’re off again!” he said in a statement. “Well we never actually stopped — as Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor and friends have been winning the hearts of families, we’ve been busy with a whole new set of action-packed adventures for the Thirteenth Doctor.
"We adore making this show and have been blown away by the response from audiences, so we can’t wait to bring more scares, more monsters and more Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole. Brilliant!”
Doctor Who's twelfth season does not have a release date.
