Donald Trump wins: Video of MSNBC host Rachel Maddow reminding viewers 'you're not dead' resurfaces
'This is your life now'

Following the announcement of Donald Trump becoming President-elect, many Americans are shocked: a political outsider - with no previous experience - has won the greatest popularity contest in the Western world.
While his followers celebrate the victory, many people around the globe have been left unsure about their future, scared of what a Trump presidency will actually mean for America.
Covering the election for MSNBC earlier this month was Rachel Maddow who became visibly upset when reporting about Trump, taking a moment to remind viewers this isn’t a reality TV show but real life.
“You're awake by the way,” she told the camera, deadpan. “You're not having a terrible, terrible dream. Also, you're not dead and you haven't gone to hell. This is your life now.”
The below clip begun doing the rounds once more on Twitter after the official announcement was made.
Many public figures have been critical of Trump’s victory, including Stephen Colbert who depicted his rise to the White House in a humorous cartoon in which the Republican becomes jealous of Obama.
