Drake really, really needs you to stop making memes out of him. It's seriously killing his vibe.

The rapper opened his hosting duties on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live with a monologue all centered on his trials of becoming one of the internet's most plentiful meme resources.

It's a pain none of us could every fully comprehend; unless we, too, have lived through the experience of being shown a picture of ourselves from the "Hotline Bling" video with the caption, "When you farted and got away with it".

Drake then launched into a soulful track about the issue; "I just wanna scream that I'm more than a meme. You don't love me for me, you just love me for memes."

He even brought on a very special guest to help him in his plea, the sublime Rihanna! Or, to clarify, Drake in a wig pretending to be Rihanna; trying out his best Barbados accent while taking on a spoofed version of "Work".

Always a highlight when he graces the SNL stage, Drake elsewhere stole the show in sketches "Black Jeopardy" and "Drake's Beef".
