Euphoria Season 2: Zendaya gives fans an update on highly anticipated second series
She hinted at the possibility of releasing mini episodes filmed in lockdown

Zendaya has given Euphoria fans a much-anticipated update on when to expect the next instalment of the hit HBO series.
Filming for the second season of Euphoria was shut down when quarantine measures were enforced due to the pandemic.
Although the second series has been put on hold, the Spider-Man: Homecoming actor told Teen Vogue that the show’s cast and crew are still hoping to provide fans with Euphoria material in the meantime.
“There is an idea to do a couple of bridge episodes that can be shot safely but aren’t necessarily part of season two,” she revealed.
The actor continued, “So hopefully, we will be able to do those in the coming months. I can’t wait.”
Production for the highly anticipated second season was scheduled to begin earlier this year in March. However, fans were disappointed to learn that production was swiftly halted when lockdown measures were introduced in the same month.
Euphoria is an American adaptation of an Israeli show of the same name. The HBO show, executive produced by Drake, follows the life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict struggling to stay clean.
Zendaya has since been nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Rue in the popular series.
