First footage from Friends reunion (sans Chandler) drops
Matthew Perry is busy trying to actually have a post-Friends career, the jerk.

It’s widely known that the Friends cast are contractually obliged to wear house arrest-style ankle bracelets that shock them if they try and get too far away from the show, and this month Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Jennifer Aniston’s all went off and they were tracked down by an NBC executive with a cattle prod for a reunion.
It was ostensibly to honour TV director James Burrows (I’ve no idea either) but really just a chance to get the gang back together on a sofa for a photo opportunity.
Matthew Perry screwed it up though, somehow wriggling out of his FriendsForever5000 cuff to go all Birdman and direct his own play in the West End.
Still, 5/6 of the cast were there, and today NBC posted a teaser for the reunion.
Actually quite a few big names were there, including Danny de Vito, Kelsey Grammer, Melissa McCarthy and Ted Danson, who remembered (or in some cases tried to forget) their parts in classic sitcoms.
The All-Star Tribute to James Burrows airs on Sunday 21 February 21 at 9/8c on NBC.
