The trio shared their reunion on social media with a call to action asking fans to register to vote in the forthcoming US election
Friends stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow have reunited to encourage fans to register to vote.
The cast members, who played Rachel Green, Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay respectively, are using social media to implore their fans to vote in the forthcoming US election.
Kudrow shared a photo of the trio to her Instagram account with the caption: “Friends don’t let friends skip elections”.
The actor then encouraged her followers to “Text FRIENDS to 26797 to make sure you are registered”.
Cox followed with a post on her own Instagram channel. The Cougar Town star posted a video of the three accompanied by the same call to action.
Aniston shared a similar Instagram Story with her 34.9 million followers. The post showed a picture of Aniston as a shocked Rachel in Friends along with the text, “When you realise there are only 100 days until election day.”
Ahead of the US election on 14 December, the trio will be joined by David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry to shoot the highly-anticipated Friends reunion.
The Friends special has been postponed due to the pandemic. No release date has been confirmed, but it is speculated that filming is scheduled to start in August.
