Game of Thrones season 6: Spotify is telling fans which character shares their music tastes

Because we're sure you've always wondered which Westeros inhabitant is your music-listening kindred

Spotify is just as excited about Game of Thrones season six as you are, and to coincide with this weekend's premiere, it is assigning users a character from the series based on their music tastes.

All you have to do is open Spotify Game of Thrones, log into your account and sit back as the site analyses your listening habits before hitting you with its verdict.

The list of potential characters, and just some of the music acts that feature in their designated playlist, can be found below:

It's all a bit of fun and a nice way to bide your time until season six debuts on HBO on the 24 April at 9pm. The premiere episode will be simulcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic, at 2am on the 25 April, and then every Monday onwards for the remainder of the season.

If the upcoming season doesn't feature a scene of Peter Dinklage drunkenly crooning along to The Pogues' "Streams of Whiskey," we're going to be disappointed.
