Game of Thrones Season 8 trailer - 'Aftermath'

With Game of Thrones fast approaching, HBO has been wheeling out the cast to promote the forthcoming series.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on the show, was the latest guest to appear on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show, with the presenter pressing the actor on the fantasy show.

Discussing how the producers keep everything so secret, Coster-Waldau spoke about how they receive the scripts through a special digital app.

“The scripts come [on it] and then when we’ve finished them they magically disappear,” he said.

Kimmell then pressed Coster-Waldau on some popular fan theories, starting by asking whether the character Jaime will kill his own sister, Cersei (Lena Headey).

“That’s a theory,” he said. ”It makes sense though, if you think about it.”

Pushed further on whether there are fan theories out there that are correct, the actor said: ”Some. But I’ve never read anywhere they got the whole thing.”

The final season of Game of Thrones reaches TV screens 14 April. The show will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Read everything you need to know about the forthcoming season here.
