Game of Thrones season 8: Jon Snow star Kit Harington calls episode 4 ‘twisted and uncomfortable’
The next episode appears to move events to King’s Landing, as the survivors of the Night King battle prepare to take on Cersei Lannister

WARNING: Spoilers for Game of Thrones season 8
Game of Thrones fans may have assumed episode four would be a little bit subdued compared to all the thrills and action of “The Long Night”, but star Kit Harington has teased otherwise.
The actor, who plays Jon Snow, told Entertainment Weekly: “One of my favorite episodes is four because the characters have seemingly got what they needed. The world is safe now. They’re celebrating and saying goodbye to lost friends. But as an audience you’re going, ‘This is only episode 4, something’s going to happen.’ And that’s the cool thing because I think the characters are aware of this as well. There’s something twisted and uncomfortable about it. It’s so Shakespearian.”
The next episode appears to move events to King’s Landing, as the survivors of the Night King battle prepare to take on Cersei Lannister, Euron Greyjoy and The Golden Company.
Photos show Jon, Daenerys, Tormund, Grey Worm and Samwell bearing torches in memory of Theon, Beric, Lyanna and Ser Jorah.
David Nutter – best known for directing the infamous Red Wedding – returns to helm episode four. Nutter also directed the first two episodes of the season. Showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss have written the episode.
