Fans are ecstatic after reading the full lineup for The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer. 

A whole host of Hollywood actors, pop stars, comedians and sporting champions are taking part in the Channel 4 special, which will raise money for Cancer Research UK.

There are five celebrity-themed episodes set to air on Channel 4 in the spring.

Atonement actor James McAvoy and Star Wars star Daisy Ridley are joining the line-up along with John Bishop, who will appear in the forthcoming series of Doctor Who, plus presenter David Baddiel, and actor and comedian Tom Allen, who previously filled in as host during Noel Fielding’s paternity leave.

Fans have expressed their delight on social media, with many suggesting the Channel 4 series booker deserves a pay rise.

Other names span music, sports, and comedy, including comedian Katherine Ryan, double Olympic winner Dame Kelly Holmes, Paralympian Ade Adepitan MBE, Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall, Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, singer-songwriter Alexandra Burke, Dizzee Rascal, and singer Anne-Marie.

Also participating is presenter Anneka Rice, as well as actor Reece Shearsmith, presenter and documentary maker Stacey Dooley, and Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw.

The line-up is rounded out by YouTuber KSI, author and broadcaster Philippa Perry, and comedian and TV personality Rob Beckett.

Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith and host Matt Lucas are all set to be back in the tent as well.

Sarah Lazenby, Channel 4’s outgoing head of formats and features, said: “What we all need right now is more joy. Bake Off is serving up yet another dollop of fun courtesy of some very willing celebrities. We can’t promise a huge helping of baking inspiration, but we can deliver some much-needed laughs.”
