Gwen Stefani has Adele Dazeem moment at the 2014 Emmys with 'The Colbort Report'
Colbert joked that he might change his name to 'Colborg'
'The Colbert Report' isn't the easiest phrase to say in front of a huge audience - all those plosive 'r' and 'p' sounds - but Gwen Stefani managed to well and truly screw it up at the Emmy Awards last night, announcing the winner of outstanding variety, music or comedy series as "The Colborrr Reporrrrt".
Stefani's co-host Adam Levine quickly stepped in to correct her, but the damage had already been done, with Jimmy Fallon joking as Stephen Colbert arrived on stage to collect his prize: "It's unbelievable, she said it wrong, so there must be a mistake."
Colbert himself would later add backstage: "I think I might just change my name to Colborg."
The incident echoed John Travolta's slip-up at the Oscars, where he introduced Frozen's Idina Menzel as "Adele Dazeem".
Other talked about funnies from the night including Bryan Cranston making out with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Weird Al Yankovic parodying TV show themes and calling George RR Martin out to write faster.
Breaking Bad was the biggest winner at the ceremony, taking home five awards including outstanding drama, leading actor (Bryan Cranston), supporting actor (Aaron Paul) and supporting actress (Anna Gunn).
