The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison wants fans to stop calling people ‘bus w*****s’
‘It doesn’t feel like the nicest or the best thing in the world to have contributed to,’ said Harrison

The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison has expressed discomfort with the use of some of the show’s foul-mouthed catchphrases among fans.
Harrison played Neil Sutherland in the beloved Channel 4 comedy, which ran from 2008 to 2010.
Speaking on the Distraction Pieces podcast, the actor lamented how some of the show’s vulgar terminology – which includes the word “clunge” and the insult of calling someone a “bus w*****” – have endured to this day.
“It’s weird because you think, well I don’t think I’ve given the world anything great,” he said. “It’s like the word ‘clunge’. Or people shouting ‘bus w*****s’ at people standing at bus stops.
“I’d kind of rather people didn’t do that. It doesn’t feel like the nicest or the best thing in the world to have contributed to.”

Last month, Harrison’s Inbetweeners co-star Emily Atack gave fans a look at the sexual harassment she experiences on a daily basis, claiming that online abuse had made her fear for her safety.
“I receive, on a daily basis... oh, I mean, it’s hundreds, hundreds. I receive hundreds of messages,” the 31-year-old actor and comedian said.
The Inbetweeners is available to stream now on All 4.
