ITV broke rules on promotion
An ITV children's show has been censured by the TV watchdog for breaching rules on product promotion.
Cool Stuff Collective looks at new toys, computer games, music and films. Ofcom investigated complaints the programme, broadcast on ITV1 and children's channel CITV, was a "25-minute advert for a number of child-orientated products". The watchdog said two items ended with "overt encouragements" to viewers to consider buying products.
