Jessica Jones trailer: Netfix’s new superhero series might top Daredevil
'You’d like to invite me in.'
Following a lot of hype and teasers, Netflix has finally released the trailer for Jessica Jones, seeing Breaking Bad’s Krysten Ritter playing a super-powered but super-troubled heroine.
Here’s your quick synopsis:
'Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check.'
David Tennant places antagonist Kilgrave in the show, serving up the menacing line: “You’d like to invite me in,” when knocking on someone’s door in the trailer.
All 13 episodes of Jessica Jones season go live on Netflix worldwide on 20 November, a few weeks after we get another original from Aziz Ansari, which also dropped its first trailer this week.
