Jimmy Bullard in I'm A Celebrity 2014: Everything you need to know about the retired footballer
Bullard thinks that the challenges he will face in the jungle will prove far harder than any on the pitch

Name: Jimmy Bullard
Age: 36
Occupation: Retired footballer who played as a midfielder
Relationship status: Engaged
Phobias: Snakes and spiders
Interesting fact: Known for his sense of humour, Bullard once filled a team-mate’s car with water
He says: "Call me the joker, the prankster or the boy who doesn’t sit still! I am always looking for attention – yes that is me!"
Bullard has played for teams including Wigan Athletic, Fulham, Hull City, Ipswich Town and Milton Keynes Dons. At Wigan he scored ten goals in 145 appearances in the league.
He hung up his boots in 2012 due to problems with his knees and has since been on the hunt for a new challenge.
He says he has has enjoyed the past series of I'm A Celebrity and that his friends and family can't believe that this time around they'll be watching him.
Bullard thinks that the challenges he will face in the jungle will prove far harder than any on the pitch.
He says: "I didn’t find my football hard at all. It was a boyhood dream and the jungle is totally different.
"I hate snakes, spiders, everything. I don’t like one coming near me, let alone touching me or me having to put it in my mouth!"
However, he is prepared to seize the opportunity and give it all he's got.
Coming from the man who ran up a £5,000 bill on his manager’s hotel room and elevated the art of "Ralgexing" - a vintage dressing-room prank featuring muscle-rub cream in unexpected places - to a whole new level, we believe him.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! starts on Sunday 16 November at 9pm on ITV
