Marvel gives first look at Loki, Wandavision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV shows in Super Bowl spot
Each show will be released on Disney+
Marvel gave a first look at three of its upcoming TV shows in a special Super Bowl spot on Sunday.
Among the advertised shows is Loki, a programme that will be dedicated to Tom Hiddleston’s character of the same name in the Thor film series.
Hiddleston made a brief appearance as Loki at the end of the 30-second clip, dressed in a prison outfit and declaring, in true god of mischief fashion: “I’m gonna burn this place to the ground.”
The Loki TV show is expected for spring 2021.
Also teased in Sunday’s Super Bowl spot is Wandavision, which will feature Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth OIsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
The series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It’s scheduled for release later this year.
The third programme included in the clip is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, focusing on Sam Wilson / Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is also slated for release in 2020.
All three shows will air on Disney+ and will be tied to the events depicted in Marvel movies.
