Catfish host Nev Schulman suspended by MTV over sexual misconduct allegations
Woman who appeared on the show in 2015 accuses TV presenter in YouTube clips

Catfish host Nev Schulman has been accused of sexual misconduct and his show has been temporarily suspended by MTV.
The 33-year-old TV presenter and executive producer is being investigated for allegations of sexual misconduct, reports The Daily Beast.
On May 12, Ayissha Morgan - who was on Catfish in 2015 - posted a YouTube video claiming she was sexually harassed by Schulman during her time on the show.
Morgan - who identifies as a lesbian - refers to Schulman under the pseudonym "Jack", who kept coming onto her and forced her to "reevaluate" her sexuality and have sex with him.
In another video posted two days later on YouTube, Morgan alleges that a female production assistant - whom she refers to as "Carol" - got her drunk and took advantage of her.
"We take these allegations very seriously," an MTV spokesperson said in a statement. "We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation, and we’ve put a pause on shooting until the investigation is completed."
Schulman's publicist issued a statement denying the allegations.
"The behaviour described in this video did not happen and I'm fortunate that there are a number of former colleagues who were present during this time period who are willing to speak up with the truth," Schulman said. "I have always been transparent about my life and would always take responsibility for my actions - but these claims are false."
Catfish began airing on MTV in 2012 and it's currently in its seventh season.
The show investigates whether or not people are pretending to be someone they aren't on the internet.
Schulman is married to Laura Perlongo with whom he shares a 17-month-old daughter.
Together, Schulman and Perlongo host a web series "We Need to Talk" for ATTN.
