Netflix has addressed the thousands of tweets it receives from users calling for more content by announcing a barrage of new movies form summer 2016, and there’s some great ones in there.
Netflix usually refreshes its film catalogue in time for summer, and this year it’s struck deals to get a few major movies as subscription streaming service exclusives.
A trailer it posted highlights Oscar winners The Big Short and Spotlight, along with gleefully terrible McConaughey romcom The Wedding Planner and John Hughes classic Sixteen Candles.
Other films include Hotel Transylvania 2, Goosebumps, the Back to the Future trilogy, The Fundamentals of Caring, The Fast and the Furious, Minions, Jurassic Park, The Lost World & Jurassic Park 3, Hush, The Do-Over, The Sandlot, Home,Lethal Weapon 1, 2, 3 and 4. Man Up and St. Vincent.
