Aduba gives her best Piper (Funny Or Die)

As the world ploughs through season 2, Funny or Die has posted an Orange Is The New Black spoof 'leaked audition tape' that sees actress Uzo Aduba go for all of the roles in the Netflix show except that which she landed, Crazy Eyes.

Aduba limbers up in the video before throwing herself into all the different characters, showing a particular aptitude for playing Red as she snarls "You come and taste the borscht".

The Broadway actress dons various wigs for the auditions, and gives a particularly energetic reading of Poussey, breaking into trademark Lil Jon "skeet skeets".

As it happens, Aduba did in fact audition for different parts before landing the role of Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren in the prison-based dark comedy.

'[My representatives] said they wanted to offer me another part, Crazy Eyes,' Uzo recalled to the Huffington Post.

"I was like, "What in my audition would make someone think I'd be right for a part called 'Crazy Eyes'?" But to be honest, when I got the script for it, it felt like the right fit."

All 13 episodes of season 2 went live on Netflix last Friday and have gone down brilliantly well with critics and fans alike.
