Queer Eye season 2: Netflix renews hit show
Another season with the 'Fab Five' is on the way

Queer Eye has officially been renewed for a second season.
The unscripted Netflix show's fate was confirmed by Variety on Monday.
The heartwarming series is a revival of the 2003 show Queer Eye For The Straight Guy which was shortened to be more inclusive.
The show features a new "Fab 5" - food and wine expert Antoni Porowski, grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness, fashion expert Tan France, design expert Bobby Berk and culture expert Karamo Brown - as they transform individuals from the inside out.
Queer Eye is produced by Scout Productions and ITV Entertainment, and its first season was filmed in Atlanta.
The reboot features a tie-in to current social and political issues and focuses on helping the weekly contestants become their best selves.
Alongside Queer Eye, unscripted Netflix shows Dope, Drug Lords, Nailed It and The Toys That Made Us have also been given the green light for second seasons.
"These series are indicative of what we’re trying to accomplish for Netflix unscripted: working with world-class producers to create the best unscripted shows on television," Bela Bajaria, vice president of content at Netflix, said.
She added, "These series elevate the genre with innovative takes on familiar formats. They deliver immersive and nuanced stories. They elicit so many emotions from viewers, from tears of laughter to tears of joy – and that’s just ‘Queer Eye.’"
There is currently no premiere date for the second season of Queer Eye.
