Sacha Baron Cohen's new Trump series gets Channel 4 release date
Who is America? will 'explore the diverse individuals, from the infamous to the unknown'

Sacha Baron Cohen’s highly-anticipated Donald Trump-related series has received a UK release date.
Reportedly titled Who is America?, the upcoming seven-part show will begin airing on Channel 4 on Monday, 16 July at 10pm.
Cohen - who created and will executive produce - recently teased the series on Twitter, posting two videos, including one of Trump and the other featuring snippets of an interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney.
There’s also some tantalising text that reads: “Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year...”
According to the newly released synopsis from Deadline, the series “will explore the diverse individuals, from the infamous to the unknown across the political and cultural spectrum, who populate our unique nation”.
Writing on Twitter, Channel 4’s Director of Programmes, Ian Katz, said: “Thrilled that 20 years after Ali G burst onto Channel 4, Sacha Baron Cohen returns to the channel at his biting, hilarious best in Who is America?“
Cohen came to national attention thanks to the Channel 4 shows The 11 O’Clock Show and Da Ali G Show, the latter of which featured Cohen speaking to the current President.
Who is America? will also air on the American network Showtime.
