Justin Bieber named 'worst-behaved' guest on Saturday Night Live, according to cast members
'Maybe he's in a better place, but then he was... it was rough'
Justin Bieber has been branded as Saturday Night Live's "worst-behaved" guest by two cast members.
Bill Hader and Jay Pharoah, who have both since left the show, sat down as guests on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live. Fielding questions from the phone-in audience, one individual was swift to ask who they considered to be the "worst-behaved" celebrity ever to appear as a guest host or musical guest.
Though the duo expressed frustration that people only ever want to know about the worst guests, it seemed they were in complete agreement as to the right answer.
"We both know, dog," Pharoah offered. Hader swiftly replied, "Yeah, it was Bieber... he was just in a bad place. Maybe he's in a better place, but then he was... it was rough."
"Everyone's usually on great behaviour," Hader then said. "Everyone's usually very excited and on great behaviour, most time it's 100%, so that's why I think Bieber's the only one in my experience. And I think it was just he seemed exhausted or at the end of a rope."
The musician appeared as a host and musical guest in 2013 to promote the album Believe, at a time when he was marred with controversy, including a vandalism charge in Brazil.
