Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle series 3: Trailer for Chris Morris-featuring series drops

Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle returns to BBC Two for its third series this weekend, with the BBC releasing a preview clip that sees the comedian damn Twitter as 'the Stasi for the Angry Birds generation'.

A much-needed breath of toxic air, Lee is back with more of his bone-dry cynicism in the teaser for opening episode Shillbottle, taking to task Twitter and the constant documentation of modern life.
Spewing bile on those who tweet about seeing him on the bus or on the school run, the comedian describes Twitter as "a state surveillance agency staffed by gullible volunteers."
"It's the Stasi for the Angry Birds generation," he adds. "And that's you, you're the Angry Birds generation. Imagine the shame of being the Angry Birds generation."
The third series of the show will see the return to television of Brass Eye creator Chris Morris, who will take over from Armando Iannucci as the 'hostile interrogator', firing insulting questions at Lee in between the stand-up segments.
Morris previously served as script editor on the show, and made a rare appearance on stage with Lee at the Royal Festival Hall recently.
Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle returns on Saturday 1 March at 10pm on BBC Two.
