Swimming with Men trailer exclusive: Watch Rob Brydon make funny little patterns in a pool in first teaser
'We're just a bunch of middle-aged men who want to meet up in trunks that are too small for us'

A man is suffering from a midlife crisis, not knowing where to go or what to do. Rather than sit around, though, Eric Scott decides to join an all-male, middle-aged, amateur synchronised swimming team. Laughs ensue.
That's the premise of Swimming With Men, starring Rob Brydon as the middle-aged man suffering a crisis of identity. And we at The Independent have an exclusive first trailer for the star-studded comedy, which you can watch above.
Perhaps the best line of the trailer comes from Daniel Mays (Rogue One): "We're just a bunch of middle-aged men who want to meet up in trunks that are too small for us, and make funny little patterns in a pool,"
Directed by Oliver Parker (St. Trinian's , Johnny English Reborn, Dorian Gray), the cast also includes Adeel Akhtar, Jim Carter, Rupert Graves, Thomas Turgoose, Charlotte Riley, Jane Horrocks and Nathaniel Parker.
Swimming With Men reaches UK cinemas on the 6 July, but fans of Brydon can catch the movie on the 1 July at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. You can follow along with all the latest on the movie on the promotional Facebook page.
