It was comforting having nine seasons of The Office US on Netflix. You could pop in to Dunder Mifflin anytime you wanted - perfect 'two episodes before bed' TV that was reliably funny.
But, as expected (although a few weeks later), the entirety of the show has this morning departed the streaming service.
It seems to be the case for the UK, US and other territories, and fans aren't happy:
It's almost certainly a licensing thing, and shows and films tend to come and go from Netflix often without warning.
There's a chance the sitcom will make it back at some point, but it doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon.
"Netflix currently have no news on whether it will be returning," a rep told The Independent.
