The Voice star Danny O'Donoghue has denied reports of a romance with last year's runner-up Bo Bruce and says fellow coach Sir Tom Jones gets all the female attention when they are together.
The Script frontman said rumours of a relationship with Bruce were "false" as was a claim that her album was inspired by him.
He said the pair had written a song together but it was inspired by the death of her mother shortly after the last series.
He said: "For me I was more impressed by her story about how she can overcome tragedy. It's such a powerful message."
O'Donoghue, who said he had become a "bit of a recluse" since the show made him a star, admitted taking a shine to former Hollyoaks star Alice Barlow during her audition.
He said: "I don't think there is a red-blooded man in the world who wouldn't find her attractive."
But he said he was still single and joked Sir Tom had to take some of the blame for that, saying: "Tom switches it on and all the girls are looking over to him."
