The Walking Dead season 7 episode 3 clip shows Dwight at the Sanctuary
'The Cell' will see how Daryl's getting on as Negan's prisoner
Although not ranking among the gorier tragedies which struck in The Walking Dead season 7 premiere, the fact remains that Daryl Dixon has been kidnapped by the Saviours with no discernible plan of escape.
We're yet to see the character since the first episode, but a new trailer has revealed that we'll be catching up with him in this weekend's episode; somewhat chillingly, Daryl - played by Norman Reedus - looks like a shadow of his former self under the rule of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Daryl isn't seen in the preview clip for the episode, however. What it does show is yet another new location that'll be known by fans of Robert Kirkman's comic book series; Saviours home turf, the Sanctuary - a former factory protected by walkers impaled on spikes.
Other prisoners, clad in rags with specific letters painted on them, can be seen herding the walkers as Dwight watches on (in the trailer, Daryl's outfit has the letter 'A' emblazoned on it).
The latest Walking Dead episode saw Morgan (Lennie James) and Carol (Melissa McBride) find refuge in new faction the Kingdom led by King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his pet tiger, Shiva. You can read our review here.
Season 7 continues in the US this Sunday (6 November) with the UK premiere following on Monday at 9pm on FOX.
