The Walking Dead season 8 episode 13 just cleared up a huge fan concern over Tara
In the writers we (should always) trust

The Walking Dead just cleared up a fan concern weeks after viewers expressed their conviction that the writers may have forgotten one huge moment from the show's past.
Season 8 episode 'Dead Or Alive Or' saw Tara (Alanna Masterson) dead set on killing Negan's former right-hand man Dwight (Austin Amelio) who recently defected to join Rick and company in the war against The Saviours. He was the one who killed Tara's girlfriend Denise back in season 7.
Now while it made sense for Tara to be baying for Dwight's blood, fans immediately pointed out that when Tara was introduced all the way back in season 4, she was on the side of former villain The Governor (David Morrissey) - and even stood with him during the prison showdown which saw him decapitate Hershel (Scott Wilson) in front of his children, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Beth (Emily Kinney).
Many expressed their frustration over her hypocritical actions weeks back, but this week's episode has shot those concerns to sunshine.
'Do Not Send Us Astray' saw Tara recall her past to Daryl (Norman Reedus) when discussing Dwight. She's now convinced he's on their side, despite Daryl thinking otherwise after seeing him shoot Tara with a seemingly-infected arrow. She recalls how she fought for The Governor and highlights her hypocrisy in wanting Dwight dead.
It's further proof that The Walking Dead fans should trust in the show's writers.
The Walking Dead season 8 continues on AMC every Sunday with the UK premiere arriving the next evening on FOX as well as being available to stream on NOW TV.
