Tom Brady read and reacted to mean tweets about himself on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The NFL star was featured as a guest on the programme ahead of the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Kimmel regularly has celebrities read hostile tweets about themselves on camera. The activity usually results in humorous segments, and gives the celebrities in question a chance to respond if they want to.

Brady kept a sense of humour throughout the exercise. The first message he read stated: "Tom Brady looks like the kind of man who doesn't know how to use a wrench."

"That's kind of true," the quarterback admitted.

Another insulted Brady's chin dimple in the following manner: "Hi. I'm Tom Brady and I'm a crybaby and I have a butthole in my chin!"

"Butthole?" a dismayed Brady wondered.

One of the tweets stated: "Hope everyone has a great Monday except for Tom Brady, f*** you Tom Brady." To that one, Brady replied: "F*** you!"

One person wished evil on Brady's pet, stating: "F*** you Tom Brady I hope your dog eats chocolate and gets really sick and throws up on your socks."

Brady replied: "That's f***ed-up."

Kimmel said: "That's Tom's line, and you crossed it!"

The footballer will play during Super Bowl LV this Sunday, 7 February with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he signed in March 2020. Tampa will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
