Netflix has a new dating show in the pipeline, which might be the next Love is Blind-style hit.

Too Hot to Handle will start streaming on 17 April.

Much like Love is Blind, the new show will feature young singles looking to couple up – but while contestants on Love is Blind were able to have physical contact (after an initial phase during which they couldn’t even see each other), things will be much different on Too Hot to Handle.

On the new programme, participants will have to steer clear from any kind of physical intimacy.

If they don’t, the prize money will dwindle – for everyone.

The show’s description reads: “Ten young, hot singles from around the world come together in a tropical paradise for what they think will be the most exotic and erotic summer of their lives — but there’s a twist.

“These commitment-phobes who love a casual hook-up, will have to give up all hanky panky for the entire retreat if they want to win the $100,000 grand prize. No kissing, no heavy petting, and no self-gratification of any kind.

“With every slip, the prize money goes down. In this luxury no-bone zone, will the serial singletons be able to form deeper emotional connections? Or will the temptation simply be too hot to handle?”

Love is Blind became a runaway success for Netflix after its premiere on 13 February.

The show has been renewed for a second and third season.
