Jack Black forgets he was in the Christmas movie 'The Holiday'

Vernon Kay recalls brushing paths with Jack Black back when he was a presenter on Channel 4’s entertainment series T4 in the early 2000s.

The Family Fortunes presenter referred to School of Rock actor as one of the worst interviewees of his career.

Speaking to The Sun, Vernon said: ‘I don’t know whether he’d had a hangover or whether it was because I was either the first or last interview of the day but he was horrible. ‘He was an absolute d**k, an a******e.’

Vernon, 45, says he interviewed Black while he was promoting Gulliver’s Travels (2010), Shallow Hal (2001) and School of Rock (2003).

According to the TV presenter, the former Tenacious D front man’s attitude was “just the same every time”.

Vernon continued: “When you’re so rude, arrogant, and pig-faced to a young TV presenter, who’s so nervous and trying to hone his skills, and you’re so arrogant to dismiss that, it’s just not on.

“He was just a c**k. I interviewed him three or four times for various films.’ Vernon added: ‘I hope he reads it, and let this be a lesson to Jack Black.”
