So, Starbuck's a girl, Boomer's an Asian girl and Muffit, that cute little dog thing, is nowhere to be seen.

Thankfully, Noughties Battlestar couldn't be more different to its 1970s forebear. An epic saga encompassing questions of race, identity, politics and religion, this final season has the fate of humanity itself at stake, and while you could nitpick about some decidedly soap-opera moments, its intelligence shines through. The West Wing of space.
