DVD review: Veep, The Complete First Season
Armando Iannucci and his pals from the BBC's The Thick of It relocate their quick-fire government insult-fest to Washington DC.
If things feel like a pale imitation of the British version for the first few episodes, by the end of the series Veep has more than matched its forerunner. And it's a treat to see Seinfeld's Julia Louis-Dreyfus employed to such fabulous effect as the Vice President, her perkiness just about masking a core of steel.
