Some distraction came in the form of "Shiny Objects", an episode of More 4's The Good Wife, which was all about distraction.

The scatter-brained Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) was back as opposing counsel in a sex discrimination lawsuit that quickly became about clowns and penguins, thanks to Tascioni's Ally McBeal-like propensity to let her attention wander.

Meanwhile, the partners were struggling with some Russian ransomware accidentally installed on company computers. The Good Wife usually gets tech stuff spot-on, but here the references felt dated – surely Diane would know not to click on a suspicious email link by now?

Still, The Good Wife has been consistently good for long enough to justify an occasional lapse, as we were reminded by the press conference scene. It referenced another press conference way back in series one, only this time it was Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in the limelight and husband in the sidelines. See how far she's come!
