As the obituaries for Eldorado rolled, Gary Bushell of the Sun chimed in with a two-paragraph eulogy on the merits of Pilar's figure, followed by a recommendation she transfers to EastEnders. Elsewhere, Blockbusters, the long-standing children's quiz show that is soon to be axed from the ITV schedules, looks set to continue its life on BSkyB; Jeremy Beadle's car was crashed by a mystery driver, and Chris Evans (who could now make news if he blew his nose) bought a new house. Least flattering portrayal of the week was Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's, husband-and-wife presenters of This Morning, who went on holiday followed, unwittingly, by numerous tabloid photographers.
