BBC1's line-up, besides the much-noted series Thatcher - the Downing Street Years, in the features and factual department for the coming season: States of Terror, a five-part series of documentaries, investigates incidents of terrorism in Ulster, Israel, Germany, Spain and the Lebanon; Life in the Freezer has David Attenborough examining natural life in Antarctica, his first series as a presenter since The Trials of Life; The Skipper follows the life at sea of Roger Nowell, a Cornish trawler skipper; Clive James Postcards are to be sent from Egypt; subjects of a new Omnibus series include Boy George, Alexander Korda, the Hungarian film director, and Bill T Jones, the American dancer and choreographer.
