Upbeat: Coda
INSTANT Glyndebourne is usually the business of the Proms. This year there's no Sussex season to visit from, and the company has gone to the Royal Festival Hall instead. But for operatic early- risers who cannot do without the queuing-up, the South Bank is putting 50 on-the-day tickets on sale at pounds 8 for each performance at 10am. Not quite the same as filling the Royal Albert Hall arena, but it's a start, and it holds for all nine appearances, beginning on Monday. First come, first served; 'good seats' are promised.
