1994 has already seen a Tippett event of some note, the premiere of his opera Le Jardin Labyrinthe - alias The Knot Garden in French. Equipped with a new translation by Edith Heybon, it took place in Noisiel, a new town east of Paris, where the Ferme du Buisson arts centre is the home of the Atelier de Recherche et de Creation pour l'Art Lyrique.
