A chance for IoS readers to win a weekend for two in St Petersburg, with two nights in a good hotel and British Airways flights, donated by Progressive Tours Ltd, the specialists in Russian travel.

The winner will also receive a translated Russian book of his/her choice from each of the seven publishers taking part in The Russians, a promotion of Russian literature funded by the Arts Council of England, which will take place in selected bookshops. Six runners-up will receive a Rough Guide to St Petersburg.
