Jenny Seagrove

Jenny Seagrove is a British actress and animal rights campaigner best-known for playing Jo Mills in the BBC series Judge John Deed. The actress made her name on the big screen, having first found fame in 1983 with the film Local Hero.

A farm hand uses a tube and a pneumatic pump to force-feed a goose with enriched corn meal to enlarge its liver at an Israeli farmer's house. The Israeli Supreme Court ruled that force-feeding geese to produce foie gras (liver pate) is cruel and has banned its practice. Israel is the world's 3rd largest foie gras producer.
